TOOL-KIT-WEB

2013

Yarn, metal tool box

Tool-Kit Web is constructed in-situ in a 24hr time frame at the Center for Maine Contemporary Art in Rockport, ME. Tool-Kit Web is composed by a metal tool box and black yarn. The toolbox as a pandora box activates threads and webs of interruption and break, producing new interrelations in space. These interrelations activate your body and another type of relations that shape your bodily movements and posture meanwhile you are inside the installation Tool-Kit Web. Threads are encounters in which direct or indirect relations are interweaved in new networks. These thread interconnections provoke you to walk, bend, jump or crawl to explore and enter the space system. Thus, interceptions of space flow permits the production of new spatial systems.
